What do Special Olympics means for the kids of KEPEP?

At the moment Greece is holding the most important event for mentally disabled people. There are thousands of participants and volunteers. Also the state has spent big money to show up to international comunity. 

But it looks like a bad joke to speek about Special Olympics in the country, where mentaly disabled live tide up in their beds or locked in their cages. It is the same state, that doesn't have money to improve conditions for the kids in KEPEP Lehainon, but have 70 million. euro for Special Olympics.

I can't stay calm and look at this "Great" event as something serious. Why good conditions are just for some of the disabled? For what reason Aleko, Prodromos, Elli, Maria, Kanella, Vivi don't deserve to participate in Special Olympics? Why dont they get good therapy, good equipment and decent living conditions?
